MAJOR FOCUS:
Prepare food items in accordance with production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe sanitary work environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Provide guests with expedient service.
* Makes food garnishes fresh every day for display on the buffet service line.
* Makes sure that all food service stations are stocked, properly tagged and ready for inspections by the Sous Chef.
* Makes sure that the work station and the entire buffet service line (Salad bar, Hot Line, and dessert station) is timely replenished and kept clean and orderly.
* Makes sure that dinner plates are always available.
* Check all food frequently for proper temperature.
* At closing time, breaks down the buffet and ensure:
* All food items are properly stored in the cooler.
* All food stations are cleaned and wiped down.
* Ice Cream machine is cleaned out.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:
* Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION:
* High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
* Previous experience in food preparation with basic cooking techniques preferred
* Clean appearance, friendly and co-operative.
* Ability to communicate in English sufficiently in order to perform job.

Accountable to: Lead Line Attendant
