DIVISION: Restaurant and Beverage Services

MAJOR FOCUS:

Responsible for beverage service to customers in the gaming areas to include serving beverages to patrons seated at slot machines, tables or cocktail lounge. Works with a point of sale system, accepts money, and makes changes when needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Demonstrates and promotes positive customer and guest relations.
Takes beverage order and relays it to Bartender.
Collects order from Bartender, adds appropriate garnish, places on tray, and serves to patrons with cocktail napkins.
Computes bill and accepts payment.
Requests identification from customers when legal age is questioned.
Removes empty or dirty glasses and bottles and returns them to the bar or kitchen.
Provide every guest with friendly, courteous and timely
beverage service.
Keep service area stocked with supplies and keep the work area orderly and clean.
Serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
Observe workplace hygiene, occupational health and safety, and security procedures

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS
Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Must be ABC certified at time of hire or within 30 days of hire date.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
Neat appearance, friendly, cooperative, alert, and pleasant personality.
Able to learn the Point of Sale system and basic guest service standards.
Ability to perform the manipulation of numbers and basic math calculations.
