JOB TITLE: Supervisor-Beverage

MAJOR FOCUS:

Responsible for assisting the Beverage manager in overseeing the daily operations of all floor service bars and outlet bars. This will include ordering inventory, inventory controls, budgeting, and cash floats within each beverage location. Ensure Beverage Department compliance with all company procedures and policies.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Maintain appropriate staffing levels for cocktail floor and bars including all bar staff and servers.
* Maintain all bar inventories including liquor requisitions, stock inventory, and special banquet needs.
* Operate department within established budget for payroll, liquor orders, and supplies.
* Provide training for all new hires, quarterly training for all department employees, and other training as necessary.
* Prepare daily server evaluations and maintains appearance standards of all bar areas.
* Observe workplace hygiene, occupational health and safety, and security procedures
* Responsible for the completion and timely submission of annual employee evaluations.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:
* May be required to participate in daily service operation.
* Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION:
* High School Diploma or equivalent required -- Degree in Hospitality a plus
* 2 years high volume beverage operation experience
* Must be ABC certified at time of hire or within 30 days of hire date.
* Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing.
* Ability to logically and independently plan, organize and complete work; initiative; well-developed inter-personal skills; ability to set and achieve high standards of performance.
* Ability to make progress on multiple assignments under time constraints;
* Ability to organize and record invoices and do basic mathematical computations.
* Ability to learn specific job duties and complete detailed work assignments; maintain knowledge of basic concepts and techniques.
* Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
