JOB TITLE: Fire and Ice - Bartender/Bar Performer

MAJOR FOCUS:

Responsible for providing beverage service to all Fire and Ice customers in an efficient, courteous and professional manner displaying a high standard of customer service. Responsible for entertaining customers through singing, dancing, and performing choreographed routines.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Responsible for learning choreographed dance routines and pouring routines to be performed on a regular basis
* Responsible for playing various roles during performances and wearing a variety of costumes predetermined by the company.
* Demonstrates and promotes positive customer and guest relations.
* Responsible for the mixing and serving of beverages in a service station capacity to servers in a friendly, courteous, prompt and efficient manner.
* Responsible for selling products and taking orders from customers and servers.
* Responsible for the mixing and serving of alcoholic beverage and/or non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and procedures.
* Adheres to departmental cash handling policy.
* Orders or requisitions liquors and supplies.
* Arranges bottles and glasses to make attractive display per departmental policy.
* Slices and pits fruit for garnishing drinks.
* Portray a positive and cooperative attitude at all times.
* Keep service area stocked with supplies and keep the work area orderly and clean.
* Keep service area clean at all times, including at the end of each shift.
* Knowledge of the most popular mixed drinks well (memorize recipes) including the proper drink garnishes
* Observe workplace hygiene, occupational health and safety, and security procedures
* Verify bar stock and prepare storeroom requisition.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:
* Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION:
* High School diploma or equivalent required.
* Entertainment background required.
* Previous bartending experience a plus.
* Knowledge of flair bartending a plus.
* Must be ABC certified at time of hire or within 30 days of hire date.
* Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
* Neat appearance, friendly, outgoing, cooperative, alert, pleasant personality with high energy.
* Able to learn the Point of Sale system and basic guest service standards.
